The 2009 Phoenix Rotary 100 Award Winners Minimize
Distinguished Rotarian Award.
 
The Distinguished Rotarian Award is presented annually to a Phoenix Rotary 100 member in recognition of the culmination of that member’s achievements and participation throughout the years of his or her Rotary membership.
 
In 2009, the panel of judges selected a man whose participation distinguishes him in the halls of Rotarians.  The 2009 recipient of the Distinguished Rotarian Award is Jack Mayfield.
 
David Wastchak “Spirit of Rotary” Award
 
The David Wastchak “Spirit of Rotary” Award is given annually to a Rotarian, in good standing, who has been a member of Rotary for less than five years.  Its purpose is to recognize a “new” Rotarian who exemplifies the participation and dedication to Rotary principles and ideals in the same way that David Wastchak did.
 
The 2009 honoree joined our club less than five years ago.  She has gotten involved in many aspects of the activities of Phoenix Rotary 100 and has taken on many assignments and is a very active member. 
  
The 2008 recipient of the David Wastchak “Spirit of Rotary” Award is Lillian Coury.
 
Tim Creedon “Quiet Confidence” Award
 
The Tim Creedon “Quiet Confidence” Award was established the award to recognize “quietly confident” Rotarians.  Tim Creedon epitomizes this type of Rotarian, and the award was instituted in his name.

The 2009 Tim Creedon “Quiet Confidence” Award recipient is Jim Soudriette.
